Do you know a secret? You can easily make the sauce at home even better than McDonald’s. No kidding! The Big Mac sauce recipe is not that difficult to mock. It is just a thousand island dressing with sweet pickle relish. However, it is a bit different. Thousand Island dressing requires tomatoes whereas Big Mac sauce doesn’t. All you have to do is procure the ingredients and whip‘em together.
McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce Recipe
This Big Mac Sauce Recipe is absolutely finger-lickin’ good. You can make plenty of it to save some for later use or even pass it to your friends. Have a barbeque in your backyard, grill some patties, and have burgers with your friends over a chilled beer. Impress them with your homemade Big Mac sauce. They will go all praising for sure and even ask you for the recipe.
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp french dressing
- 4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped white onion
- White vinegar
- Granulated sugar
- Teaspoon salt
In case french dressing is not available, use these ingredients:
- 1 ½ tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup mayonaaise
How to make Big Mac sauce?
If you are looking here for instructions, there aren’t any. Just whip all the ingredients together and store the Big Mac sauce in a jar. Refrigerate it overnight and don’t forget to stir it a couple of times while it is freezing in the refrigerator. Easy peasy, isn’t it?
How to use it?
Spread a dollop of the Big Mac sauce on both of the buns, put ham patty with a slice of cheese, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, and you are good to go.
