He was dressed in black pants, a white T-shirt, and an unbuttoned plaid shirt. After seeing this look of Matthew, an insider source told Globe that the actor might be back on the pills.

“Matt has packed on over 50 pounds. He’s overweight, out of shape and not taking care of his personal hygiene. He looks like a bum,” the source said.

His pants are stained with God knows what and his hair is a tousled mess. People are really concerned he’s abusing pills and drinking again, and that’s a virtual death sentence for someone who’s had as many health issues as he’s had.

The insider further added that Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox tried to stage an intervention for Perry, but he has been ignoring their calls.

After the third season of Friends was completed, Matthew Perry got into a jet-ski accident after which he was heavily dependent on painkillers, and that’s how his addiction began.

“From the start I liked how it made me feel, and I wanted to get more. I was out of control and very unhealthy,” said Perry.

He was so deeply plunged into drugs from 1997 to 2001, that he doesn’t remember shooting many seasons of Friends. Matthew Perry told BBC in 2016:

I think the answer is, I don’t remember three years of it. So none of those … Somewhere between Season 3 and 6 … I was a little out of it.

In 2001, during the sixth and seventh season of Friends, Matthew Perry had become a chronic alcoholic and he came to the sets with such severe hangovers that he was never in a condition to act. Finally, he sought help from his parents and then went to rehab.

It was scary. I didn’t want to die. But I’m grateful for how bad it got. It only made me more adamant about trying to get better.

After two and a half months in rehab, Perry said, “that a happy life is possible without alcohol or drugs.”

Matthew Perry felt visibly hurt about the jokes the fans made on the expense of him. So he when went into rehab, he told his fans with a broken look in his eyes: “I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web.”

Later, Perry opened his house as a sober-living facility and helped men overcoming their addiction by a 12-step workshop. He said:

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my life and a lot of wonderful accolades, but the best thing about me is that if an alcoholic comes up to me and says, ‘Will you help me stop drinking?’ I will say, ‘Yes. I know how to do that.’

But recent evidence indicates that Matthew Perry might have relapsed into drugs.

“Perry might not live longer than six months” says a source

The insider source whose identity is still unknown to the press, has claimed that if Matthew doesn’t change his lifestyle then “he’ll be dead within six months.”

Although there is no concrete evidence to back up this claim, medical experts have said if Perry is indeed back on drugs and alcohol then the damage to his liver and heart, along with his diabetic condition can cause his death very soon.

While everyone, including doctors, have suggested Matthew to get back to rehab – we hope that he takes our advice and gets well soon.
