Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape accuser is claiming for £56million in damages.

Mayorga demands £18m for “past pain and suffering”, £18m for “future pain and suffering” and £18m in penal damages. Besides this she added her expenses and legal fees that sum up to £ 2.5m.

The amount (£ 56.5m)  she wants from Ronaldo equals his 2 years salary at Italian Football club Juventus.

Ronaldo firmly denies Mayorga’s claims. Moreover, she accepted $375,000 (£270,000) as part of an out-of-court non-disclosure settlement in 2010. However, in 2018, Mayorga filed a civil lawsuit in Las Vegas saying she had been “mentally incapacitated” when she agreed to  an out-of-court non-disclosure settlement in 2010 and signed it under constraints.

Now her legal team has filed a list of over 60 witnesses they want to testify in the court. This list includes British former Big Brother star Jasmine Lennard, 35, who claims she dated the former Manchester United ace 10 years ago.

Besides Lennard, the list also has the three police officers who investigated the original complaint, Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and adviser Andy Quinn.

Ronaldo has already stated: “I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me.

“Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.”

Having said that the road seems to be a little bumpy for the arguable G.O.A.T.
