Jennifer Aniston is suddenly back into the highlights once again, first she joined Instagram and her fans crashed the website just within just 6 hours. Then she made her debut post with a picture of the FRIENDS cast: David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, and Lisa Kudrow.
Now she is in news again for kissing Ellen DeGeneres on her show.
Ellen wants you to “find out how it happened”
Jennifer Aniston appeared on the show and asked Ellen about the previous episode in which she has kissed the guest Howard Stern: “Did you enjoy it? How was it? Were you nervous?”
Ellen told Jennifer that she has kissed men before, and then asked Jennifer if she has ever kissed a woman. Before she could answer, Ellen offered her a kiss and Jennifer leaned in.
The shocking part about this kiss is that Jennifer actually kissed Ellen, who is known for her numerous faux pas and blunders in the social circles. Does Jennifer Aniston not know about all this or does she simply not care?
Ellen has been in news recently for some very wrong reasons
It turns out that Ellen DeGeneres, whose credentials are considered as being a neoliberal progressive social icon, is not so progressive at all. Earlier this month, she faced heat from all the fronts on social media about her friendship with George Bush, the the former right-wing US President who is a racist and a war-criminal.
She even chimed in to defend her friendship with him, saying that she respected people from “different” political viewpoints – completely ignoring how the “different” political viewpoints have affected the people who are not rich and white like her, and do not live in the posh parts of the US.
She now says she hates Trump but she once gifted him a golden stroller with a golden chandelier
Ellen now claims that she “can’t stand” Donald Trump, and that he is “not welcome” on her show. But it’s not hidden from anyone how close she used to be with Trump, and now she is critical of him because it’s fashionable and trendy to do so. In 2007, she gifted Donald Trump a golden stroller with in-built golden chandelier for his youngest son. This was after the sexual assault allegations were already made on him, and he was already out in the public with his “Grab them by the p*ssy” comment.
One might wonder why that didn’t irk Ellen?
Or, if she hates Trump now then how is she defending her friendship with Bush now, when Bush and Trump are essentially the same?
Does Jennifer Aniston not know or does she just not care?
It’s hard to say whether Jennifer Aniston is ignorant of Ellen’s shady friendships with Bush and Trump, or whether she is also like Ellen – a faux progressive, who appropriates the progressive viewpoints for the sake of show business, and underneath it all – they are all the same. The crème de la crème of the elite population, who can afford to be ignorant and malicious while pretending to be progressive and liberal at the same time.
Should Jennifer have absconded from the kiss? Should she have refused to be on the Ellen’s show altogether? These are the questions whose answers Jennifer should think about herself.
