Is There A Vaccine For AIDS? Will Coronavirus Go Away On Its Own? A Peek Into Claims Made by Donald Trump

Did you know that Donald Trump has lied and made false claims for 19,127 times since he became president in January 2017? A Washington Post report says so.

Just a few days ago, he was telling people to drink and inject bleach to cure Coronavirus.

Add to his never-ending list of lies, false and misleading claims that now he has claimed an AIDS vaccine exists.

Does it?

What exactly did he say?

He said this during an address outside White House. He also claimed that he “just knows” that Coronavirus will go away on its own without a vaccine.

He said that the scientists who are working on the Coronavirus vaccine, also developed the vaccine for AIDS:

“These are the people – the best, the smartest, the most brilliant anywhere, and they’ve come up with the AIDS vaccine. They’ve come up with … various things.”

Truth is that there is no vaccine or cure for AIDS. The only way for AIDS patients to survive is by taking powerful medicines, and anti-HIV drugs which reduce the risk of infection and allow the patients to live a normal life.

Even the Health Department of America had to come forward and say that, “there is no vaccine available that will prevent HIV infection or treat those who have it.”

“Too bad there isn’t a vaccine for serial liars,” one person tweeted a snarky remark at Trump.

While addressing the Coronavirus issue, he praised himself and then the scientists. He said that there will be a vaccine for COVID-19 by the end of the year. And even if it didn’t get invented, the Coronavirus will go away on its own.

“I always say, even without it, it goes away. But if we had the vaccine, and we will, if we had therapeutic or cure, one thing sort of blends into the other. It will be a fantastic day and I think that’s going to happen. And it’s going to happen very soon.”

Dr Mike Ryan, director of WHO’s emergencies program, responded to Trump’s claim and said that no one can predict when the Coronavirus will actually go away. And it’s important to know:

“This virus may become just another endemic virus in our communities, and this virus may never go away. HIV has not gone away — but we have come to terms with the virus.”

The press conference was also about signing an order on police reform, which Trump did begrudgingly, all the while loading heaps of praises on the police – calling them great guys.

On the other side, police brutality has continued all over America after the cops shot and killed Rayshard Brooks.
