Miley Cyrus, the voice a whole generation grew up listening, has had vocal cord surgery. And now she is hospitalized while the doctors have advised to stay silent for a long period of time.
She won’t be singing or even speaking for a while. For how long this will be, we do not yet know.
She was hospitalized for tonsillitis but had to go through vocal cord surgery
Miley had checked in a hospital for her tonsillitis but they discovered another issue with her vocal cords. So this week she had to return to hospital for undergoing surgery.
According to a source who confessed to People magazine:
When Cyrus was hospitalised for tonsillitis last month, she discovered a separate issue with her vocal cords, which she had unknowingly had for years.
Doctors have commented that Miley won’t be singing for at least a couple of months. Although, she is recovering fast and will surely bounce back stronger than ever.
Miley’s new boyfriend Cody Simpson is with her all the time
Cody Simpson, whom Miley referred as her “boyfriend” pretty recently, was with her during the surgery. On Instagram, he posted a selfie with Miley, captioning it “success”.
He shared another picture, captioning: “She made it home. Recovering from surgery. send all the vibes.”
Miley has been dating Cody for just about a month, and their romance seems to be blossoming quickly.
Miley has had a rough year, after her marriage with Liam Hemsworth broke apart and then she had a “summer romance” with Kaitlynn Carter when both the ladies were spotted kissing each other on their trip to Europe.
Later, Kaitlynn confessed that she fell in love with Miley, while Miley broke off the relationship, citing that it was “moving too fast.”
Miley’s mom is also tending to her
Miley is receiving the best care possible, and we’ll get to hear her sing again by the next year.
