2020 is the unique rollercoaster year that has come up with almost everything imaginable – forest fires, we got almost close to a world war, virus outbreak, fire tornadoes, volcanoes, killer hornets, massive floods, anti-fascist protests, Pentagon confirmed UFOs, almost everyone is certain that there are aliens after a signal was found from the nearest star, and then a giant fireball was seen falling from the sky that crashed in China.
The video clip of the scene has gone viral on the internet, and people are speculating what it really could be.
This is how bright it was
On Wednesday, the people of western Qinghai heard a loud explosion and saw a giant ball of white fire falling from the sky into the Yushu City of China. It was so bright that it was even spotted from the flying airplanes in the local airspace.
A local man named Dan Ba was one of the first people to witness the fire, while he was taking his child to school. He said to the media that initially, the ball was really small and far up in the sky, but it kept getting bigger as it came down and eventually hit the ground.

A user even wrote:

What’s next lol?”
Another Twitter netizens pointed out that the number of fireballs falling from the sky is relatively higher this year as compared to other years.
This is what the scientists say
China’s Earthquake Networks Centre said that no one was injured in the crash, and the fireball was suspected to be a bolide. A bolide is a very bright meteor that shines because of a relatively higher composition of Magnesium, Sodium, and bound water molecules.
It is also being said that bolide might have sprayed a lot of meteor fragments in the area, and the scientists are now on a hunt to collect them so they can figure out the mystery of the fireball.
