It’s time for Archie Harrison to handle some responsibilities as he is going to be a big brother soon.
Meghan Markle is Pregnant
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are “overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” a statement from the couple’s spokesperson confirmed. The couple went through rough times as Meghan suffered a miscarriage in July 2020 and are yet to share any further details on the little bundle of joy joining Archie soon.
The Royal Family’s Reaction
As stated by sources, the couple shared the good news in advance with grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, as well as their son and heir, the duke’s dad Prince Charles.
“Her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and the entire family are ‘delighted’ and wish them well,” a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace told.
As the royal couple who got hitched in May 2018 announced the pregnancy, shared a beautiful picture taken by photographer Misan Harriman. The picture is taken outdoors where wife Meghan is lying on her husband Harry’s lap with a hand placed on her growing baby bump while he smiles looking back at her.
“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow,” Misan captioned the announcement picture on social media. “Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”
Harry: The Proud Pops
For Harry, welcoming Archie and seeing him grow has been a beautiful dream coming true.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I can ever possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing so we just wanted to share this with everybody,” Harry stated when Archie was born in May 2019.
Undoubtedly, Harry and Meghan are delighted to see their dream of completing the family coming true with a new addition – a baby brother or sister for Archie Harrison.
