People are posting pictures/videos of them getting COVID shots. Everyone has a unique story and one prominent story that has won everyone’s heart is of a Canadian Sikh man who is seen performing Bhangra – a Punjabi folk dance in the viral video that’s making rounds on social media.
Gurdeep Pandher, a Sikh man who is a dance instructor, posted a video of himself doing ‘bhangra’ on a frozen lake in Canada.
Pandher after getting his shot went to a frozen lake and carried out the Bhangra dance there.
Gurdeep Pandher received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine a few days ago. After getting the dose, he celebrated the moment by recording himself doing a ‘bhangra’ in a 55-second video on Twitter joyously dancing to dhol beats.
Pandher shared the video with an uplifting message saying: “Yesterday evening I received my Covid-19 vaccine. Then I went to a frozen lake to dance Bhangra on it for joy, hope, and positivity, which I’m forwarding across Canada and beyond for everyone’s health and well-being.”

The video posted on Twitter in March went viral very quickly and has garnered over 2.5 million views and over 116k likes on the social media platform.
