Violence Against Black People Increases As A One-Year Old Black Child Got Shot And Killed In USA

Gun crimes are ever on a rise in the USA, and while school shooting were a “normal” thing in USA – now people are raging over an infant who was shot and killed in New York City.

According to reports available, the shooting killed an infant and three adults were injured. This incident took place in Brooklyn, New York.

The baby and his family were celebrating a cookout

Witnesses say that two men, dressed in black, jumped out of a car and fired at the kid who was accompanied by three adults on a cookout.

Hospital reports say that the baby was shot in the stomach, and was declared dead after arriving at the hospital. The three wounded men are hospitalized and it is likely that they will survive.

The baby’s name was Davell Gardner Jr, and he was sitting in his stroller while his family enjoyed a cookout nearby when the killers arrived. The three wounded men are aged 27, 35, and 36.

Baby’s father has a message for the killers

Baby’s father Davell Gardner Sr had a message for the killers:

“You took my son’s life. I can’t get that back. I can’t hold him no more. I can’t hear him calling me ‘daddy’ no more. I can’t kiss him no more. I can’t play with him no more. I’ve got to put my son in the ground now. He’s only one. His birthday is in two months. He didn’t live to see two. He didn’t live life. It’s like, I wanted to get him out of this violence before something like this happened.”

The death of an innocent baby has thrown the family into grief and anger. His grandmother, Samantha Gardner said: “He was the joy of my life. I just got a call saying my grandson was shot. You can go to hell. Excuse my expression, but you took something that was precious for me, precious for my son, something precious for his mother, and we will never see him. He cannot come back. He cannot wake back up. He was an innocent little baby and he’s gone forever.”

Another family member was outraged at the police and the gun violence:

“They need to stop this gun violence. I feel like this: You all are ranting and raving about black lives. But you take a life that was only a year and half old. And it’s not fair. It’s not fair to the grandparents. It’s not fair to the mother. It’s not fair to the father, the whole family in general.”

Police haven’t arrested any of the killers yet.

Violence against black people has multiplied in the last month

Violence against black people has increased in the recent light of black lives matter protests. A dozen black people have been hanged on trees during last month and police hasn’t arrested the murderers yet who are likely KKK members or cops themselves. In fact, the police is hard bent on proving all these hangings as suicide – even in the cases when a black person was found in an area far away from a home, hanging from a tree, while his hands were tied behind his back.

In another event, some older white kids pushed a 10-year old black kid named Molu Zarpeleh into a pond and drowned him. This was an incident from Brookings, USA.

Breonna Taylor, the black woman who was killed by cops while she was sleeping, still awaits justice as her killer cops are not fired or arrested.

All of this makes it’s extremely necessary to defund the police. If you have any doubts about how defunding the police would work, we have put together a simple article that will explain everything in concise detail. Read it here.
