While the rest of the world fights and struggles against COVID-19, the greatest challenge in front of the scientists, we are still no closer to finding a cure or a vaccine.
On the other hand, North Korea has suddenly jumped into the foray and announced that they have discovered a vaccine and they are on their final stage – which means that final human trial is left to do.
Western media says North Korea is lying, as usual
North Korea’s State Commission of Science and Technology has announced that clinical trials for the COVID-19 vaccine are already going on, and now they are going to start the third phase which will be testing the vaccine on humans.
Western media doesn’t find this claim believable – they keep reiterating that discovering a vaccine would require huge amounts of money and there are already billions of dollars being pooled in the western pharma companies as they race each other to find the cure. What they fail to mention that the excess billions of dollars invested in the pharma companies are there only in the form of money laundering and to inflate the bill of expenses. So later the pharma companies can justify charging thousands of dollars for the vaccine, claiming that they spent a humongous amount that they need to recover.
Is North Korea’s healthcare system any good?
Although, North Korea’s healthcare system is nothing to boast for – it is just like the healthcare system in USA, where it’s difficult to get treatment and people can’t find the medications they need. Only difference is that visiting a hospital in North Korea doesn’t make you bankrupt.
North Korea has zero cases, then why the vaccine?
Another question arises is that since North Korea has claimed that they have zero cases of Coronavirus, why do they care about developing the vaccine at all? Are they genuinely afraid of the virus? Or, as western media claims, it’s just another way for Kim Jong-Un to flex to North Korean people that he is going to keep them safe?
Capitalist media can hardly be a judge of a society that it doesn’t understand. It’s hard to comprehend for them that something can be done without seeking profit or propaganda.
North Korea actually handled the COVID-19 better than any country
Consider that North Korea was one of the first countries in the world which saw COVID-19 as a serious threat, and initiated swift lockdown, and other safety measures – which is why they currently zero cases as reported.
It is possible that there are infected people and they have been found due to the lack of comprehensive testing. Another possibility hints that the North Korea acted fast because they didn’t want their fragile healthcare system be overburdened by a deluge of patients.
