When Donald Trump swore in as the President of US, he was pretty sour about Kim Jong-un of North Korea. Both of them often exchanged snarky remarks, while Trump compared the size of their “red button” and both of them threatened to nuke each other.
But then according to Trump, both of them met, exchanged “beautiful letters” and then fell in love.
Now, since Trump has COVID-19, Kim Jong-un has sent him a wish.
This was Kim’s message to infected Trump
According to North Korean state media, Kim Jong-un sent a get-well-soon message to Donald Trump and his wife Melania, and wished that they would recover soon.
Korean Central News Agency reported:
“He sincerely hoped that they would recover as soon as possible. He hoped they will surely overcome it. He sent warm greetings to them.”
They were very bitter to each other in the past
But remember how enraged USA was when North Korea tested their nuclear missiles and showed a capacity that they could hit US mainland with ease.
Imagine that USA, a country with 40,000 nuclear weapons and military bases in almost every country in the world, was complaining about 4 nuclear weapons of DPRK.
Donald Trump was furious and threatened North Korea, said he would rain “fire and fury” on the North Korean people. This threat came from Trump even when Kim Jong-un hadn’t said anything about attacking US. But the global bully US wasn’t to listen, so Trump dubbed Kim as “little rocket man on a suicide mission.” Finally, Kim retaliated and said he would “tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire.”
But then they “fell in love”
Later, they both met and got friendly with each other. Trump tweeted about their “beautiful love letter” exchange and said they both fell in love. Kim Jong-un referred to Trump in his letters as “your excellency.”
Trump even saluted a North Korean soldier by mistake.
And their meetings often spark thousands of memes as the netizens often have a field day with the pictures of the two.
