You may have heard of how early risers conquer the world. Waking up in the wee hours of daylight may prove helpful to some. Whereas the same proves disastrous for others. Why? It’s simple.

Why waking early is not for everyone

It all comes down to DNA wiring in this case. Morning people are literally hardwired to be the most productive during the early hours of the day. The other group houses night owls/night people. Such folks tend to be their creative and alert best in the wee hours of night time.

Also, in most cases, people who wake up early are mostly those who have tight schedules. Maybe they’re a student trying to make the best out of early day hours to top an exam. Maybe they’re CEO’s with little or no time to spare, thanks to the responsibilities on them. Or maybe they’re a homemaker with three school going kids to take care of. In the end, it’s just to cope with responsibilities.

What happens when you force yourself to wake early

From various testimonies, we can safely say that waking up early is not everyone. If you’re a night owl and force yourself to get up at 5 am, there are high of you experiencing mental fog and drudgery throughout your day. In fact, this only gets amplified with the number of times you do it. Low energy levels, lack of motivation, unhappiness are sure to follow on this route.

To be honest, if you really want to wake up early, try sleeping early. This way, you’ll be getting your standard 8 plus hours of sleep just with a different time scale, if you’re someone who likes to take the night by storm; it’s highly suggested you ditch waking up early.

Working with your body clock

Body clocks are hardwired systems that can be pretty hard to break. Your body clock is fashioned according to your lifestyle. So if painting all night is your thing, be sure to sleep right into the morning. Waking early is not going to be good for your body. However, if you’re someone who loves to jog in sp morning air, maybe your body clock is set to do so. In the end, be you a night owl or a morning person; be sure to follow your body clock.

It’s not waking up early that makes people successful, rather, it’s what they do from the moment they wake up to the moment, sleep that makes them who they are. There are countless famous individuals who are night owls. one of them is Former President Barack Obama.

In fact, night people are known to be very creative, social and unique. Heads up if you ask me. Being a night owl ain’t that bad after all. So that’s what it is folks, be kind to your body clock and wake up when you feel most refreshed. Early bird or not, it’s what you do with your time that decides if you get the worm.
