The turmeric & ginger tea recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 tsp dried ginger (or two inches fresh ginger root)
- 4 tsp dried organic turmeric
- 1 cup plus 3 cups of water
- ¼ cup honey
- ¾ tsp black pepper
Preparation:
Take a cup of water in a small saucepan and mix the turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Boil the mixture and reduce the heat to simmer. After simmering for a few minutes, turn off the heat, add honey to the boiled mixture and cover the saucepan to let it steep for at least 1 hour. Lastly, strain the mixture using a sieve.
Add 3 cups of water for dilution and store it in a jar in the refrigerator. Drink a glass of this remedy every morning on an empty stomach for the best results.
