Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Reuniting With The British Royal Family

British Empire officially saw its sunset many decades ago – but they still continue to be relevant in popular discourse. British royal family is still hoarding much more wealth than most British business tycoons. According to a Forbes estimate, they are worth $88 billion – which would place them among the top ten richest in the world.

But Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry were never to follow in the family footsteps as they parted aways from royalty last year. They said they’ll seek to be financially independent and let go of their royal titles.

Now, the news has come floating that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reuniting with the royal family

Does this mean that the “financial independence” thing didn’t work out?

According to a report by Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reuniting with the British royal family this spring season. This will be the first time they’ll be coming together with their family after giving up their royal titles.

Last year, the famous “Megxit” had happened when the couple decided to move to California with their one-year-old son Archie. They said they’ll not be taking any money from Prince Charles, Harry’s father, and try to make it on their own.

A series of jokes and memes had followed afterward, with Burger King offering a job to Prince Harry.

Queen was “quite upset” after the Megxit

Royal biographer Andrew Morton says that the relationship of the couple with the rest of the family is still on shaky ground, but they’re making efforts to mend it. Some other sources say that Queen Elizabeth was upset at the turn of events and it might take some convincing on Prince Harry’s part to bring her around.

Meghan writes “Her Royal Highness Duchess of Sussex” in her son’s birth certificate, hinting that they might become royals again

The reports say that the big family reunion is scheduled on the day of Trooping of the Colour, which is the Queen’s annual birthday parade on June 12th in London. This parade will mark the 95th birthday of the Queen.

Could this be considered a sign that this reunion will be something permanent? It seems highly probable that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will eventually return to the royal family after the report by Daily Mail which said that Meghan has removed her maiden name from her son’s birth certificate and added “Her Royal Highness Duchess of Sussex” in the mother column.

The estranged royals are going back, after all.
