This is the world’s largest museum and also a historic monument of Paris. In the year 2018, Louvre was the most visited museum of the world with an average of 15,000 visitors per day. If you are in Paris or planning to go to Paris then this is one place you shouldn’t miss. The Muse de Louvre (translated as Museum of Louvre) houses around 460,000 objects and 35,000 work of arts with more than 652,000 sq. ft. dedicated to permanent collection. The Louvre exhibits sculptures, objects of art or decorative art, drawings, archeological finds, paintings and drawings. It houses some of the famous renaissance painting collections including the painting of Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci.

No visit to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. Synonymous with Paris today and a global icon for France, The Eiffel tower was the most visited paid monument in the world in 2015. The Eiffel tower is a wrong iron lattice tower named after Gustave Eiffel whose company built the tower. The tower stands 324 meter tall, and is one of the tallest man made structures in the world. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level’s upper platform is 276 meters (906 ft.) above the ground – the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union.

Apart from picturesque medieval architecture and it’s gorgeous museums, Paris is  known as the International capital for high fashion since the 19th century.  Paris fashion week held in January and July at Carrousel Du Louvre and other parts of the city is in the top 4 biggest events for fashion in the world. Paris is home to the biggest and most grandeur brands in fashion today. Some of the biggest  fashion houses include names like Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Hermes. Paris also home to the largest cosmetics company, L’Oreal. Most of the fashion showrooms are on the Avenue Montaigne. So when you are in Paris do indulge in fashion shopping.

Want to take a quick break from museums and stony city stores with really high prices? Well, we present to you Paris off the beaten path. This giant flea market is the place to be for every kind of shopper. The bargains you get here are unbelievable for their quality of products. This is really a giant flea market containing 70,000 sq. meters and 15 different markets so be okay with going through a heap of uninteresting stuff before you find what is right for you. Think of it as a treasure hunt. On a precautionary note, do stay aware of pickpockets while in crowded places like this. Hope you have the best vacation!
