Fix Lower Back Pain With a Yoga Stretch

Lower back pain is experienced by approximately 80% of adults at some point in life. The intensity of lower back pain may vary from mild to acute, but it affects both men and women affects all genders equally.

The causes of lower back pain are mainly a result of improper body posture, sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy habits, genetics, age, pregnancy, overweight, etc. are some of the most common causes of lower back pain.

Fortunately, now you can treat lower back pain safely and inexpensively. All it would take is working on improving your flexibility and making some required changes in your routine. This might not sound new, but the flow of yoga poses is something that is more than beneficial in this case. These poses are extremely helpful in getting relief in quite a short period of time.

  • 1 cushion (optional)

This yoga pose doesn’t require you to have any prior experience. Just by following certain guidelines, you will boost your lower back flexibility, attain a proper body posture, and strengthen your core muscles.

As far as an ideal time is concerned, stretching before hitting the bed is beneficial to release tension in your lower back that built up after a long day. However, you can try it out at any time, and it would still do wonders. 

If you have a herniated disk, you should avoid trying this stretch.
