Speaking of deductions and withdrawals. Dwayne Johnson seems to have it going real good for him. The hit star earns almost $700000 from each episode of the HBO series “Ballers”. And like this was not enough, “the Rock” also earns a neat seven figures in royalties from his line of clothings, shoes and headphones with Under Armour.

Previously in 2018, Dwayne Johnson was second on Forbes list following behind George Clooney who actually earned a lump-sum amount from the sale of his tequila company.

This was perhaps the best remake of the classic film that has been adapted and remade for every generation in the film era. The actor bagged a whopping $40 million from the film. In fourth place was Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar followed closely by hit martial artist and actor Jackie Chan who collected, $65 million and $58 million respectively.

Talk of the Town

Dwayne seems to have made his way from being a star at pro wrestling to being a start in Hollywood too. ALmost shadowing the figures of Tom cruise and the like of Harrison Ford, looks like this era has seen a new kind of actor rise to the top.

The Twenty-Twenty Norm for A-listers Like Tom Cruise

The usual norm for A-listers in Hollywood is the twenty-twenty rule where an actor like Tom Cruise gets paid 20 million upfront and also collects 20% of the film’s gross profit. Profit as in the pool of fund that is leftover after all the films expenses and bills are paid. These actors get paid so for the huge masses they draw in and looks like Dwayne Johnson just made it to the list now.

It has to be audience first. What does the audience want, and what is the best scenario that we can create that will send them home happy?

-Dwayne Jonhson to Forbes in 2018

Apparently, Dwayne “the rock” Johnson is the type of actor that people love to see on screen now. Well c’mon, the man is an absolute angel with the looks of a war God. Like who is not going to like this guy?
