Camila Cabello stole something from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Kensington Palace, and it has caught the eye of the British royals.
It turns out Camila was ratted out by BBC Radio 1 host Greg James.
Camila was visiting the royal palace on William and Kate’s invitation
Camila Cabello was visiting Kensington Palace because Prince William and Kate Middleton had invited her over for Radio 1’s Teen Heroes celebration. She went over to meet the Teen Hero finalists and clicked a picture with the kids and the royals.
The Radio 1’s host Greg James was also there who dared Camila to do something “innocently wicked.”
Then he ratted her out to the royal staff.

He “triple doggy dared” her
Greg James recalled that he told Camila:
We’re about to meet William and Kate. Steal something.
He thought stealing was a way to commemorate her visit. Camila complied. Then she confessed on live radio:
And I was like, ‘You triple-doggy dare me? And you can’t not do a triple-doggy dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So I did it.
Then Greg James went to the royal staff and called Camila out: “She stole a pencil!”
Even after being called out, she didn’t want to give the stolen item back
Camila said recalling the incident:
And I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ And I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom was like, ‘No, we have to give it back. We have to give back the pencil.’
Cabello, however, refused to give the pencil back, “No, I have to take the pencil.”
Then she apologized to William and Kate on the live radio show: “So, I’m sorry. I still have it. I’m sorry, William, and I’m sorry, Kate. I honestly couldn’t sleep last night. I had to get it off my chest.”
