They say actions speak louder than words. What better day than Valentine’s Day to talk about love. Although, even expressing love is an action, and every day is valentine’s day when madly in love. Why set out just ONE day to shower our partners with love? Shouldn’t loving someone be a part of our lifestyles than a task? That’s another story altogether.
Some of us aren’t too good at expressing our love. But that doesn’t mean the person doesn’t love. That also doesn’t mean that you have to live on in anticipation of whether the person loves you or not. There are signs that you can look out for. Observe your partner for a substantial amount of time. No less than fifteen days to a month. You’re not just looking for love but also consistency in love!
If you notice any of these signs for at least these many days, you can secretly know that your partner is falling for you. Take a look.
- They’re willing to make changes:- Making changes is not the same as changing themselves. It means accommodating you in their lives. Are they still weird about sharing space at home? Is your partner willing to adjust his schedule for you sometimes? If they are, then they’re considering you an important part of their lives, and that’s a good sign that your partner is madly in love with you.
- They make you feel free- Humans get comfortable around each other as they spend more time. Comfort replaces the awkwardness. Soon the comfort transforms into freedom. You’ll reach that stage when you don’t need to tiptoe around each other. There’s space to be you and vice-versa.
- The “We” word- When someone begins to fall in love, sentences automatically change into “we” from just “I.” It becomes more like, “We really love that place, we’re crazy about this movie, let me discuss it with him/her first, etc.” Has your partner entered that phase already? - Efforts become effortless- When in a new relationship, there’s no way around investing time and effort in getting to know each other so you can make it work. But as time progresses, the efforts become effortless. Spending time together, planning outings, doing things becomes a part of your routine. It’ll happen with you and with your partner. There’s no better sign than this that your partner is madly in love with you.
- The Touch- When the love is new, your partner will not be able to keep their hands off you. That doesn’t always mean intimacy. It simply means they’ll love holding hands, laying their head on your shoulders, sleeping on your lap, or gentle kisses on the forehead every now and often.
- They’re interested in the things you do- Only a partner who loves you will take interest in your life and in the things you do. Whether it is a hobby, a routine, work, or anything else for that matter. If you’re doing it, they’re interested in it. What’s more? They’ll even express how proud they are of you.
- They’re there for you- When your partner is in love with you, they’re going to be there for you. Period. No questions asked. They’ll offer to help if you’re stuck. Hug you if sad. Or jump in joy with you when happy. If they’ve started doing it, without even you asking for it, they’re falling in love with you!
