8 Easy-to-Care Plants For Your Home

We all lovesome greenery in and around the house. But, of course, keeping plants comes with the responsibility of providing them with enough care. Most of us refrain from buying plants worrying about who will care for them when we’re away on a holiday or are busy with our routines. But some plants are easy to care for and still add a sense of freshness to our houses with their colorful look. Which are they?

1. Dieffenbachia or Dumb Cane- Perfect for placing near the doors since they grow tall, they’re not too demanding for light or water. Unless it’s the winter season when they may require sunlight once in a while. It might not require water more than twice a week. If the soil is dry, you water it. If not, skip!

2. Aloe Vera- Can’t water the plant for a few days? They can take it! Of course, if you can, keep them hydrated. They grow best in filtered, but direct sunlight. Not to mention how they’re so beneficial.

3. Red Aglaonema– If you find the soil dry, you water it. If not, skip it. So easy to care for them, isn’t it? Plus, the color is refreshing to the eyes.

4. Lucky Bamboo- Remember to water them with distilled water and not direct tap water. They’d love some sunlight but filtered.

5. Lucky Palm- Bringing in a lot of luck, they’re flexible to low-light and moderate soil.

6. Jade Plant– Moist soil is just right. Holiday in the winters as they don’t need watering more than once a month. DON’T overwater them. Keep them by the window but avoid direct sunlight.

7. Calathea- Keep the soil damp, and that’s about it. A big no to direct sunlight, but if filtered, they thrive!

8. String of Pearls- Pretty as it sounds, they can store water for one to two weeks. They need the light, and they need it bright.

Get these plants home, add some nature to your environment, and worry less about their care.
